I have to develop a Flash-based Interactive product for children based on the 'As I was going to St. Ives Nursery Rhyme', which must have an educational element to it.
For my Univeristy module on Interactive Web Content I have been set the task of thinking of, designing and then builiding an Interactive Flash product, which will eventually be based on the World Wide Web, geared towards a target audience of young primary school children.
The subject matter is a Nursery Rhyme. The Rhyme which has been chosen for me by my tutor is 'As I Was Going To St Ives', made famous in the hit movie Die Hard: With A Vengeance, starring Bruce Willis.
As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

With the focus being on young children I have been told to add some sort of educational focus on the project, especially with it being a logic puzzle in lateral thinking including numbers and of course it must be colourful and engaging to the child.
This project has a 14 week time frame placed upon it so I will post my completed Flash artefact in my Portfolio in around three-and-a-half month's time.
