About Me
Tennis

Oakengates Tennis Club, based in Telford, Shropshire, where I play on a regular basis.

Apart from Interactive Media/Web Design and Information Technology I have many interests outside of both work and University.

I have a wide selection of hobbies; I try to keep as fit as I can and to do this I currently play football three times a week, both at 5 and 7 a-side, both playing and managing and I also play tennis (weather permitting) a few times every month.

I also enjoying playing pool, snooker and the occasional game of poker as I like the combination of skill and mental strength that these games entail.

Listening to music helps me to relax, as you can see from the CDs that I have been listening to lately I usually opt for rock or indie styles of music and recently I have started to go out and listen to live music events, these have included the V and Leeds Festival, as well as Kasabian, The Fratellis, Editors, Kaiser Chiefs, The Enemy and The Stereophonics in concert.

I also really love reading, not only books surrounding my area of study but fiction, especially crime/psychological thrillers. Favourite authors of mine include James Patterson, Jeffery Deaver and Peter James.

I also consider myself a bit of a film buff, spending time watching my ever growing library of DVDs at home, as well as the latest releases at my local cinema.

SUNDAY 27 JANUARY 2008

I have just received my grades from the previous semester, they are - A15 in Authoring For The Web, B13 in Digital Image Creation, B13 in Research and Study Skills and a B12 in Interactive Authoring - so far so good and I am really pleased.

Tomorrow I will be studying four new University modules - Interaction Design, Interactive Web Content, Introduction to Digital Sound and Understanding New Media - which will no doubt leave me once again snowed under with work.

I have posted my projects from last Semester in my Portfolio, as well as a commercial website project for a Squash Club based in Lilleshall, Telford, check them all out!
